Thats what sux 'bout the thrif-toes. you gotta go all the time to get really good stuff. Being "Retired" helps me a bit. Being in a rather small area (about 80,000-ish for IF & Ammon ID) might help??? IDK, I found good stuff back in CA too. I guess you gots to be lucky. ;)
area has a lot to do with it. here things are not as fruitful. i think
sellers are hunting for deals. i don't have a problem with that.
first come first served. its still cool to go hunt.

which would you use to cook or marinate with?
im thinking something with lime flavor.
I'd be leery of using a hoppy beer like Voodoo Ranger for marinating food, we used a similar "juicy" IPA for corned beef and cabbage this year and it was weird how much the hops leached into the cabbage.

If you're just doing chicken or something, that would probably be okay, or else I've used beers in sauces - barbecue sauce is always a good choice, or any number of Caribbean style jerk or mojo sauces to incorporate beer into.

and a horn for $2 for my motorcycle. The old one fell off on a road trip. I pulled over because "I felt something", walked back about 30-40 yards, saw something in the street & got there just in time to watch it get run over by a truck. It still works kinda-sorta, but with a low volume. 😁

Do you know if a horn is polarity sensitive? I haven't checked yet, but am anticipating having to change the connector.
But you never know, I might luck out and it might have the same connector. :)
I'd be surprised if it matters. It's basically a speaker, right? There's nothing to wire it out of phase with (unless you have two horns).
