My latest haul, all for less than a Jackson.

Glass container on the blender, none of that plastic crap! I think its from the 70s. Time to make a rum slushie for brunch while cranking some Ritual De Lo Habitual!

Almost every Saturday, I do a loop of the local thrift stores. I'm always checking for tools, Dickies style work shirts (bonus points if they have brewery logos embroidered on them), skateboards, golf clubs, and vinyl records.

that blender is a nice score. you never know what you find. i like to look thru the book section for old recipe cooking. got a cool little book on mini lathes. some of the thrift stores here are more expensive than new stuff. but im not up on the value of most things.

Yes! Tools for sure, always looking for a 10mm socket or wrench. I found a Pacifico skateboard a month or so ago for 3 bucks. needs new bearings but not bad.

Yes books! I can spend hours in the book section, I agree about old recipe books, it's awesome finding simple recipes before seed oils and refined ingredients.

you can google it now but i prefer the books. lots of good how to stuff in there. i think you get closer to the original taste of how its supposed to be.

I have a few favorite finds, this Technics dual cassette deck from 1984 is probably my favorite though. I only paid a few bucks for it and after cleaning the heads it plays great! No need for a new belt either, very rare.

I decided to sort my wrenches recently and discovered I kid you not six 10mm crescents. I'm a little worried the Internet will be breaking in to my garage now

its common to have many of certain sizes. 9/16 and 1/2 is the size that i have a few. the cool thing is you can modify one if you need to.

hey how bad did the weather get your way. when the hurricanes came thru? i was wondering if you made it.

its common to have many of certain sizes. 9/16 and 1/2 is the size that i have a few. the cool thing is you can modify one if you need to.

I need to find a 1 1/8 wrench to cut in half so I can loosen a bolt for the oil pressure switch on my truck.
Hopefully a new switch will fix my problem, the oil pressure gauge bounces when I slow to a stop, the gauge stops bouncing when I put in neutral.
