I really like the bolt on singlecut with the bloodwood board. I wouldn't mind owning one fretted four to go with my fretted fiver...hmmm.Gorgeous!

I reckon they'll darken up quite a bt when I get some finish on 'em. This is also my official test bass for filter preamps, at least until it isn't again.
Here we go!!Skjold-slayer.
It is a really nice slab of wenge with maple binding. Marco just refuses to do "normal" with markers and such, it's not in his DNA at all. I love that but many don't.Just kidding; it's gorgeous.
Is that a wenge fretboard?
Me too. I was treating this as a long term project to help me get into pickup winding but now it looks like it actually could be making noise within a month or two. I was thinking passive-only too for a new challenge and a different flavor, but Marco gave me a sideways look right quick when I brought that up yesterday.Cool. Can't wait to watch it come together.
I was thinking that flat black Krylon never goes out of style, my man. What color will you paint it....
Looks beautiful BTW and congrats
Does Bora Bora have termites? Does that Polynesian chick have crabs? Oh, wait...!I vote Antigua.
That's the kinda Marco bass I would play.Incoming, just closed the deal this afternoon. Should make a cool test bed for Jazz Bass pickups and various test preamp formats, and it looks like my buddy who built it is onboard with doing more of the assembly work than I was expecting. It’s 34 1/2” scale, same as my other two Marco Basses.
