Love it.

Our pets have random-ass names.
We had a rescue already named April - she was the house cat at our previous cat's vet, and pretty much demanded we adopt her when I took said previous cat in for a visit. After that one died suddenly we decided to adopt the 11yo old lady with the chronic sinus infection and eye watering IBS. Loved her dearly but whew.. that was rough.

We named the next one May. Then my son found a kitten and we named her June, but she was rehomed with another kitten after the wife threatened to walk. Tommy you guys were here as that unfolded but he's since collected a list of aliases to rival Fletch. He probably should have been Julius but that was never seriously considered. Of course - Abraham Delacy Giuseppe Casey Thomas O'Malley. "The Tomster" (ie - there's a tomster under the bed). Mr Tomness (ie the faun). Goofball, and Stop That.

ChatGPT's ode to churu
In the shadows we roam, wild and free,
Semi-feral lives, just my brother and me.
But when Churu's near, we come to stay,
For that creamy delight, we'll brave the day.

A cautious touch, a gentle pet,
We'll tolerate, no need to fret.
For Churu's taste, we'll bend our rule,
A fleeting trust, the human's tool.

In the twilight hour, we'll steal away,
But for Churu, we'll return, come what may.
A treat so fine, it bridges the gap,
Between our wild hearts and the human's lap.

Not sure if its genetics or good eating during growth phases but.. Woah, he's a bruiser compared to these two. He's a full inch taller than May and I don't think the gingers are that big. There's at least two houses feeding them so its their own fault if it's nutrition. Taz got a bit of flea comb tonight for the first time since release. Glad to see em, its been a much needed soggy all day rain but nobody has hit the food since I put it out this morning until dusk.

They also got a sniff and a paw lick. No hissing like last time they met (Tommy was in a harness that day. He could have just been dying of embarrassment)

Never thought we'd be back to this point after letting them go. Ghost maybe but Taz? Taz turned in his feral card this morning. That tuna puree is powerful stuff. So powerful my indoor cat reminded me it was time for her pill when I forgot this morning. She will literally come running if you open a pill bottle. (though she will still try to spit it out and still want to the treat)

The shelter had her named Stardust, we shortened it to Dusty. (I told my wife it matches our house) 😄

You shouldve named her Account Hack and then nick-named her Ackhack, which wouldve sounded like Ack-Ack, from the movie Mars Attacks.

In any event, what Im getting at is thanks for the fucking friend request hindu asshole.
