Man, I'm getting ready to kick myself off TB lol. To me the last straw will be the ppl who wait in the wings and pile on when you have an disagreement with someone. The knowing, winking comments like "oh, this guy again." I just call things as I see them and don't suck up. Yesterday I got sick of the 4,000th post in the Mesa thread asking about D800+ cases and I replied "This has been discussed ad nauseam. Search." Then the guy replied that he didn't want a ban so he wouldn't say what "needs to be said." I replied nicely enough telling him how to search TB from Google, and next thing I know I'm blocked by the guy, and called the "search police." Blocked! Then a certain individual piles in to comment on the "tone" of all my posts. I then just lost it a bit, basically told him to back off in no certain terms. I told him what I said was the truth, and I'd say it again. Anyway, my point is that the initial exchange was kind of funny but then the gang piles in and it's not funny. I've been on TB for 23 years. I'm not a troll. Some people are just so damn touchy.
Maybe it's time for the TB biggest A hole list!
I'd like to nominate Blastoff the thread killer.
Who you be hatin right now?

You'll quickly find that our like-minded nature, has nothing at all to do with us all agreeing.
I disagree!
I searched "Talkbass deactivate" hahaahaah!
LOL. I deactivated myself from there a few months back. Like you, I was getting tired of all the pushback on silly things and people who didn't really want to learn anything being resentful of the people there they had something to learn from. Nothing is more frustrating than people who ask questions and then shoot down all the good answers because all they want is validation.

All I did was send a PM to the admins to tell them I wanted my account disabled and they made me a "guest." I'm much happier hanging out here and elsewhere - I was finding myself triggered by stupid stuff over there, and that never happens here.

Glad you joined us. We're a merry bunch.

Tell me more about the Reverend. I've been interested in them for a while, but can't really afford to do more than think about them right now.
It's beautiful, construction perfect, and it's a P killer (and a lot more). It's got what I call kind of a hifi vintage tone, and the low end has this tight huge pillow vibe that's incredible.

Very nice. Looks like a couple of humbuckers in a P/J sorta configuration. I've always said I'll never part with my #1 but things like this have me tempted sometimes. Maybe I could just sell every other bass that I own...
