I would be like your evil twin.

My Remmington razor has a NiCad pack hot-glued to it and there's a Makita battery charger on the bathroom wall for it
Yea I'm the same way haha. I have a soft spot for Frankensteining things together. It makes life more interesting. As long as I don't get electrocuted, it doesn't need to be that interesting

I have been searching for information on how to wire a cross over in a bass cabinet and all I find is information on car stereos. What can you tell me bout this subject? What kind of crossover do I buy in order to do this 🤔 how do I wire it?
If the cab originally had a tweeter there's gotta be a crossover somewhere in there. If not, I'd be inclined to leave it disconnected.

Thanks man. So that's all I need? I am surprised it's so simple. Is there any special wire I need? Would this blue wire be good enough? Or should I order this 16 gauge wire I been eye balling on amazon
Speaker wire is simple. I don't know what gauge that blue wire is. You could literally use an old extension cord. You don't need shielding, just two conductors - one for plus to the speaker, one to minus.

guilty. hell i had house speakers in the car at one time. use to see those drive in speakers under the hood in the early 80s. i was too young to know why. i put christmas lights in the package tray and hooked them to the radio. at the right volume they lit with the beat.

Man, that would be the coolest live kit ever ahha. Have a light show whenever I turn on my amp.

better options now. nothing wrong with making things custom. i do agree with pilgrim on trying figure out what the hell i did. i look at things i did years ago and wonder why i did it that way. but i encourage writing things down. it will add to your knowledge of how things work.

Thanks for advice. I'll make sure to do that, so in case I decide to do more of this stuff I won't have to relearn it haha

same with music. when i used to play i would play something cool then forget what i did. a recorder would have helped a lot. your doing fine from where im sitting.
Thanks man. I still lose riffs from time to time lol. I try record them with my phone recorder tho, as if I try bust out my iPad and garageband I'll likely forget the riff by the time it's set up

Good point. There are plenty of bass cabs that have no tweeter, just wiring jack to speaker. I suspect the one in question is different just based on the number of connection options built into the rear panel.
