Well I sold the goat to cover some expenses and to get the wife a new wedding ring. I got a good price and it did go to a good home thankfully! I know I will probably never get another one. But having it for the last 13 years had some good memories! I chose this forum over the other one because of the members here is the ones that need to know 👍There might be a corvette in the future I hope C3ABBB5D-F25F-4B83-9381-54BB4F62D60E.jpeg

Nothing wrong with a C3!

Besides, the only thing worse than having no GTO... is having a 71-72!

In all seriousness, bro... You were one of (if not the first) member that I connected with on the GTO forum. As you can see from "my other side", above all else, I respect people who can see the forest through the trees.

We've all loved and lost cars. Some of us still search for long-lost-loved-ones, from decades ago. If it was time for you to part ways, then it was time. You found your GTO a new owner who would cherish it? That's all that matters.

I hope to see you posting regularly in the GTO forum and I EXPECT to see you posting regularly here.

We all met through our experiences with music, coffee, movies, and machines, but what keeps us together is who we are on the inside. That's why, although were so wildly different on the outside, we all still jive.

Whether you buy a vette, a Mustang, or no car at all, you're an honored member of the elite society, so long as you choose to be. I don't know any members on either site who would disagree.

@Baaad65 isnt a musician (unless you count the skin flute) and he's been having a gay old time in the music forum.

Ive had some really rough times with my car. Mechanically, I could kill it at times. Whenever it gives me a hard time, I consider selling it and buying a 2017 Grand Sport or another C3.

We all have to follow our path to the end. Sometimes you camp out there, sometimes you start another path.

Good looking car and sorry it had to go.
Was that a stock color?
No it was not Jim, it was an Infinity shade of green gold Found mostly on their big SUVs. It’s original color was Adriatic Blue

Ouch. You have definitely been an asset on the other forum and yours was the first thread I read when I made it over here. Honestly, you made the right choice. I’d dump my car, and everything I own, for my wife and kids. Everything else is just stuff

Btw. I know where there’s a C3 that’s probably for sale. The leaky one that lives next my Pontiac. Dad says he wants to sell.
