Anyone ever played one of those Kala basses? They look neat.
They are fun, but definitely a very different feel with those strings. I have a solid body one also w/ roundwounds on it too.
I use them mostly for goofing around with. My kids play them occaisionally, and they are also good for ease of transport.

Would I spend more? Probably not.
