Love those model kits from Tamiya
My former Yamaha...
I just sold this one, not long ago... Twas fun for around town, but too much power for such a light bike.

I think my only exception is when I find myself a little past the apex in a corner carrying just a little too much speed and Mother Mary comes to me and says "keep the shiny side up stupid"I remember when I first got the Vmax thinking, damn, this thing is fast. After a few months I felt like I needed to kick like I was on a scooter. More power leads to wanting MORE POWER.
lol... Look... Im busy building a GTO, building a forum, defending the universe, trying to see up my sisters friends tennis outfit, and getting ready for Christmas. You have to finish my sentences for me!I'm going to pretend that I never heard this. There can never be too much power. Ever. And you're old bike looks awesome. Good thing I got a set of new cams and a spare head to mod just in case I need some more...
I know you are very busy and maybe we should concentrate on what's best for the forum.lol... Look... Im busy building a GTO, building a forum, defending the universe, trying to see up my sisters friends tennis outfit, and getting ready for Christmas. You have to finish my sentences for me!
It wasnt that the bike was too light, it's that the bike didnt feel stable enough for a 900cc triple. Especially without wind protection and aero help. OTOH... My FZR 1000 felt like a GTO! R1 felt like a Cox airplane... Vmax felt like a 455 screwed to a 2x4
I'm not a model-building kind of guy, but I just might have to make an exception for this.
That is freaking awesome. Perfect combination of 1958's overblown styling with fat tires and a hood scoop! Plus LPB.This is the finest example of a 50's classic muscle machine that Ive ever seen. So accurately proportioned and oooohhh that stance!
