First, whack the driver, then off the passengers. I want everyone in the car whacked off.

    It’s a little laid back,

Play less. Then listen back and play even less than you did.

I set myself a 2pm cutoff for work and then I’m on vacation.  Camping in Crawford Notch Sunday to Wednesday.

The wife was supposed to take the dog to the park with the kids so I could work, but she didn’t realize how much of a schedule the dog is on, and the dog started freaking out just as wifey started cooking breakfast.  So I took a break from work to do the dog park.

I planned to be super good about keeping the trip to one hour door to door.  But an acquaintance showed up as I was getting ready to leave.  She’s a therapist who’s son is about to enroll in the same law school I went to.  But today ADHD came up and turns out she has it too, so we went down a rabbit hole about meds and coping strategies.

    There went another hour…

Not a fan of standard PJ basses.

In no way, shape or form would I ever consider a G&L SB-2 remotely close to a standard (Fender?) PJ.

    Plenty of headroom, comparatively.

Didn’t I see a J with full sized MFD’s in it, recently?  LPB, if I remember correctly.

Playiing my battle bass, which recently underwent opern-heart surgery… my life-long Duncan QP’s out and new Fender Vmod pups in it… EVERYONE is commenting on it (and they dont know that I switched pups). Considering that everyone has already been complementing my tone for 15 years, that’s saying something.

The Vmods are so articulate, touch sensitive and expressive.

You’ve been telling me about the Vmods.      50 times usually gets the message across so I will try them.  Forgot I had a new set of Fender 55’s (which were supposed to be awesome) and found them last night.   Can’t decide if these go in the Tribute or Fullerton J first.

GTO as daily driver – That’s the flaw in your plan right there mister.   I get big miles out of these Hyundai shit boxes for cheap; a used Sonata could be the best answer. I found one for my daughter that had 38K miles and super clean for $8K.  Mine has 120K miles and other than brakes and tires, I had to change the alternator and serpentine belt.
