Hello there!  This is Jason Mendelson.  You should know me from the old website called BassStringsOnline.  Over the last few months my wife Lara and I have been working to bring you a new place to get the strings, accessories, and instruments you love, trust, and use most.  We would like to present to you: FretNation.com

Our goal is for Fret Nation to be your one stop for all things fretted (and fretless too).  Bass, Guitar, Ukulele, Banjo, Mandolin, Pedal Steel guitars and all kinds of instruments in the guitar category.  While our new website is being populated with products it is fully functional and here to fulfill your orders!  If you do not see the product you would like and have purchased it from us before please do not hesitate to reach out and we will make it happen.

While most Cleartone, D’Addario, Dingwall, DR, Ernie Ball, and Spector products are currently available on the website, we will be adding more products and brands to the website from La Bella, GHS, Rotosound, Elixir, EBS, Genzler, Aguilar, Ken Smith, Thomastik-Infeld, Fender, Hipshot, Gallien-Krueger, Dunlop, Seymour Duncan, Optima, and many more.
We look forward to working with you and once again supporting your musical journey where ever it may take you.
    Jason & Lara
    The Fret Nation Team.

SCTMMC Mile High Procurement, Logistics, and Transport Specialist. Open Sundays Noon to 6PM.

Sweet, you guys even have my favorite ‘coustic strings:
    https://www.fretnation.com/Ernie-Ball-Earthwood-Phosphor-Bronze-Acoustic-Guitar-String-Set–12-54-Medium-Light-2146_p_6426.html
It’s a shame that when they discontinued the Acoustic Slinkie line and rebranded them as phosphor bronze Earthwoods that they also got rid of the 12-56 pack.

I’m really starting to like my Pressurewounds on the Highway One Jazz. I installed the medium set, and at first thought they had too much tension…

… I know this sounds weird, but as I play them (each time) they seem to loosen up, making them more playable, to me.

Set it down for a day, come back to it… tension.  Play… less tension.

I know… weird.  It’s not like the neck is fighting against this perceived tension… still straight as an arrow.

And the zing you get from straight rounds is more easily controlled with technique with the Pressurewounds.  I haven’t touched the EQ on my bass, or amp, since they were installed and I can still growl… not even digging in that much.

    Pretty sweet!

It’s the nature of a hex core string to have a bit of “fight” in it which is what I like.  If you like real “fight” try LaBella Deep Talkin’ Flats.  Lot’s of stiffness but oh so mellow and smooth.

    Got that same email. Awesome!

Really happy to see Jason has a new site up and running. I exclusively bought from him the whole time he had BSO going.

Just wanted say again that Jason’s new venture is open for business so if you’re getting ready to order bass or guitar strings of any type or accessories log into his site and order or contact him directly at Fret Nation if you have any questions.

    https://www.fretnation.com/

As busy as he’s been he’s done little of any posting anywhere but promises he’ll drop by soon to say hello and open up some lines of communication.  We’ll also have a direct link to Fret Nation posted here on the site for our convenience.

We traded PMs the other day and I asked him again to give you a shout.  They’ve been tied up stocking inventory and adding product lines but I’ll stay on it.

For now you could probably just use his logo.  Arghhh, that didn’t come out well did.  I’ll ask him if the logo is what he wants to use and have him send you something that’s useable.

LOL  Yeah, it does look that way doesn’t.  If it was possible you’d just incorporate that into every posting page like a watermark.  LOL

It just won’t copy well off Jason’s web page.  I need to have him send Army something he can use to create a link.  Obviously this won’t work.

Thank you! Yeah they just changed the name. Same strings though.  We can make custom sets using singles if you would like! Right now I’m just offering them as 6 packs which is how they send singles to me.

Pressure wounds are still my favorite strings! Longest lasting too! Before costed strings came around, nickel iron alloy were advertised as the long lasting string.

Thank you again so much! I’m always available to answer any questions.  I’ve been keeping online social media stuff to a minimum while really making sure things are being taken care of on the back end.  Still have a long way to go for the new site to be where I want it to be.

As long as you got what you wanted! Little secret… I do sell on Amazon too! Just at a much higher price to cover the added Amazon fees. Would much rather sell direct at a lower price.

I found an email from you this morning.  I happened to be unsubscribing from a bunch if spam stuff and saw a personal message… well, solved that! Now I know what I’m looking for.

And will do so from here on out. I ordered guitar strings and bought Elixir. Then I noticed that you carry an extensive line of DR guitar strings. I use DR for all my basses so now I can make it consistent across the board. Glad to see you are back up and running.
