I have only one Fender and it was rather recently acquired.

Happy the s/p mod is done ✅

That’s a good mod indeed. I did it to my first gen SB-2 with JJ pickups, and holy carp.

Y’all have all these badass Fender basses. I can’t believe I let y’all talk me into buying all those fucking G&Ls.

If you hadn’t bought G and Hells we might never have known you. That would be tragic.

We knew him back before he ever bought a G and Hell.

Ya’know, back in the glory days, when he was publicly shitting himself on stage.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

GG Allin did it every show.

Here’s my Squier with Geezers.  Once I put a split MFD in it, though, shit escalated quickly.

it’s almost embarrassing how good this bass sounds.

There's something about this that's so black, it's like how much more black could this be?

Yeah, well, that’s where I am about now. I adore my G&L’s, and I’ll buy more, but not until they answer the phone.

Yeah… When I bought that squire jaguar, I plugged it in to play it before I chopped it, and it was ridiculous. It was among the best bass tones, that I had ever heard.

My chopped up franken Jazzuar sounds great! Still has the stock Squier pups and active (bass boost only, I think) electronics.
Probably gonna put the TBX in it and make it passive. Maybe.

I think I paid $200 for mine, new. Then I paid $400 for an American Standard neck, $175 for Duncans, $200 for Hipshot tuners, and $100 for a Hipshot bridge.
