Sucky day today. Had to have the mobile vet come to my house today to assist my 14 year old Labrador Retriever. She stopped eating last week but hung on to give me a weeks worth of tail wags. Pretty darn good dog, and I am going to miss her a lot.

Sorry to hear this :(. We lost one of ours over the summer. It’s never easy, even when we know they are old or sick or both. My condolences.

Hey there LBS-bass.  I think it’s possible that we know each other.  Did you sell a blue MM Sterling a few years ago?

She can’t answer your question until you confirm that it didn’t blow up.

First, whack the driver, then, off the passengers. I want everyone in the car whacked off.

That is affirmative.  I loved that bass and I’m glad it’s working out for you!

Curious to hear what your favorite styles are?

Progressive, mainly… 70’s 80’s rock, depending on the tunes and who I’m playing with.

Seriously, that blue bass had the best neck on it I’ve ever played.  I kinda wish I’d given it another shot with my Mesa head and RevSound cabinet but by the time those came into the mix I had already fallen for my jazz and I didn’t look back.  But my loss is clearly gbrooding’s gain and I couldn’t be happier to see it’s getting plenty of love 🙂

Just bought this online.  Kind of rough, but I think I can clean it up.  Will pair it up with my 410.IMG_8457

    Nice score!

I want to pop that bubblewrap, though.

Not with the bass or cab, but with the 88, yes.

So on paper the 88 sounds like a more better SVT.   Does the tone suck? What’s the deal?

On paper, it sounds like a genie in a bottle… 1975 Barbara Eden… In reality, it sounds like an underboiled boiled potato
