This song is very personal to me, and this girl’s interpretation is quite good.
She has lots of cool covers. Great voice.
There's something about this that's so black, it's like how much more black could this be?

September 12, 2020 at 12:30 am #144232One of my favorite acts I occasionally got to mix back in the long defunct 100 seat club just down the street — Grooveyard. The lead singer Jenn Dashney was mostly doing singer songwriter solo stuff last I heard, with kind of a folk-country bent. This is obviously not that.

September 12, 2020 at 12:56 am #144237And a local band I used to sub for sometimes when I was feeling brave, Django’s Cadillac. Kat Cogswell was probably my favorite vocalist to work with ever, one of the few who could hang with improv fearlessly, and with a big smile no less.
