I tend to hit the strings a little too hard with my right hand when I’m playing. Been trying to break the habit, but old habits die hard!
So, I ordered some wood samples and am going to make some of those fancy finger ramps to help prevent me from digging in too hard.
From top to bottom:
Bubinga, Bird’s Eye Maple and Wenge
Thought I’d use the Wenge for my JB, but I think the Bubinga would match the Old School Tobacco Sunburst better.
Might stain the Bird’s Eye black and use it on my Frankenbass.
