I have an Invicta self-winding dive style watch for a backup. If the battery dies in the Tissot I'm in good shape while getting it replaced. Other than that, I'm not a collector. I need to find a home for my grandfather's Hamilton railroad pocket watch.

Just got a Fossil Nate, and love it... Most sinister watch, this side of the Pecos.

That being said... those sinister looks come at a cost: if I had to tell at night, in order to be rescued from behind enemy lines, I would just stand up and do jumping jacks, while yelling "hey enemy, Im over here".

I haven't worn a wrist watch in about 20 years as best I can recall. The last one I wore got thrown at me by an irate female I was dating at the time. She missed me with it but it went out the open patio door of a 2nd floor apartment into the parking lot below where it was promptly run over by a car. It wasn't an expensive watch but it did have some sentimental value to me.

Anyway, it was at that moment or very near to it that I decided I no longer needed to wear and watch and simultaneously swore off dating insane women with deep seated anger issues which pretty much encompassed nearly every woman I'd ever been with. I'm not altogether certain how I managed to tap into their anger but every single one seemed to think it was all my fault.
