This is where I've ended up so far.
Driving the higher frequencies, while leaving the low-end alone.
Similar approach to how I set my MBD-1.
Clean set to unity for my lows/mids, dirt set for my highs.
Totally different pedals, but gets me the character I want.
While they're outside of what I normally spend on pedals, I still really want one of these. Not only do they look awesome, but they seem exactly like the kind of pedal I'd enjoy.

A fourth wall break inside a fourth wall break.

From what I've heard of your music, I think this thing would be awesome for getting your dirt tones.

Every new pedal is "the last" but I may be now. Shure BLX HX stomp XL, ampero control, Ampero expression, and a cme u4midi.

I am not a wah guy. I mean its cool, it just doesn't fit the music i play, has its own learning curve that i don't really have a drive to master, and feels kinda niche. But I had the space and I can use a volume pedal.

MIDI can come the u4 wireless or by cable, leave the same way. Midi in only goes go the HX for patch change and clock. Midi out only comes from the ampero for my setlist app.

I have three patches dialed in dead nuts for the strat. Will likely do the same for the tele when its done. Paring down the rest of em as soon as people start buying stuff again. IMG_20260725_212919955.jpg

Basically an HX and some accessories.

I see open space on that board!!!
That means more pedals are needed.

I have about 3 patches I use (plan to do something similar for each guitar) .
1) Spanky clean JTM45 - chorus is available (actually two stacked on the same switch),
2) Mostly clean JMP bare hint of bark with a very mild boost. Even with the boost it still sounds clean in a dense mix, alone you can hear the distortion.
3) JCM800 low input maxed out, with a boost available. It's still gritty with strat pickups. Not totally homogenized.

Everything else on there is either power, wireless or midi. It's like the pedalboard for the guy who played a cable into an amp for 30 years.
MIDI is mostly controlling my setlist app, though it will accept MIDI clock for synchronizing delays, and hopefully sooner or later I'll get that app doing patch changes with the set list. The pedal is mostly volume swells right now but I am playing around with using it for reverb depth - I don't use a ton - my philosophy with reverb is turn it back till you can't hear it then bump it one notch up.
