The Kilo has this immediate "snap" in the attack of the note. The '81 Wunkay does too, to an extent, but not quite the same.
Funny how much I hated the Kilo when it came out... And now if I had to choose between it and the LB, I couldnt.

I havent touched my G&L's in 6 months, and havent practiced at my desk in over a year... been so busy... but new place is ALMOST done, and then life will be forever changed!

Do you still have the Toro?
No I sold it back in 2020. Back in 1987 I bought a special order El Toro fretless. It was awesome. I loved that bass, but had to sell it in the early 90s after having kids, bills, responsibilities, etc. I found this one on ebay in 2015 and bought it thinking I would love it as much as the fretless. Unfortunately, I didn't. It just didn't have the same appeal as the fretless, and it weighed 14.8 pounds!! I sold it and used the money to buy back a family shotgun that my numbnutz brother sold. Good deal for me, and good deal for the guy that bought the Toro, so all happy!
