He has turned into a sweetie, however hes still dumb as a box of rocks and even though he dearly loves me now, he still plays rough, claws out.

Our older cat had a dentist appointment last week. She lost a tooth a couple weeks back. Evidently, the enamel had worn off her top teeth causing them to soften. They ended up pulling all her upper front teeth. It hasn’t slowed down her eating even though we can’t get her to take the pain meds. We have been force feeding her the antibiotics which she hates. Here’s her hanging out on the couch with me the day after the ordeal.

i have to give one of the indoors Prednisone but its crushable. i mix it with churu and now she comes running to the sound of a pill bottle

Was in my sock feet in the garage the other night trying to install shelves in the safe. Something starts stinging my foot like I'm standing on an ants nest. Immediately look down and there's Taz, Mr outdoor cat who wants to be indoors, with his outdoor cat manners showing indoor cat affection. Making biscuits on my foot but using full claws.

Yeah I love you too buddy but this is completely unnecessary.

For all the swagger and bluster of these "semi-ferals". I found Taz outside with a mouse. I need to mow - have no energy. (I did do the only strip that's really visible from the road). Anyway - Taz has a mouse in the tall (I mean tall) grass. Once again they get an audience, the prey drive goes out the window and it's mug for the audience. Ghost did it with the snake too. Anyway - the mouse takes off running, and he happens to charge straight for Mr Taz, the Bunny Slayer. Does he pounce? Nooooooo he starts defensively batting it away like a human when startled by a mouse in far closer proximity than they realized. If I said screamed like a girl that picture wouldn't be inaccurate.

I wish I had that on video.

After three months of every weekend saying I need to get the cat door in the garage door. This happened .

I spent 15 minutes coaching Taz through the door. Then went to look for Gost. My son says here he is .. No that looks like Taz. I go back inside to fetch Taz and theres Ghost.

I had to go back to see who j just trained and it was Taz alright. Whether Ghost figured out the door on his own, or more likely he had entered the garage in the hours the door was off the hinges and was sleeping somewhere hidden i dunno (but suspect the latter).

I built that spacer out of pvc trim board, put an eva gasket and caulked it all. once the caulk dries enough to finish cleanup i may paint as the caulk doesn't quite match the white . But its a garage side door nobody sees and isn't in pristine shape and may just make sure its weatherproof and leave it

Just got that on video and its exactly what they do too. Yesterday i coaxed them through with no help on the door. This morning i had two cats in my garage when there were none last night. Training complete!

And a good thing Ghost says because its been unseasonably chilly and gloomy this week. He just chills in his favorite box on days like this

Didn't see who but we all know it was Taz the Bunny Slayer. Found a gift in the garage. A head. It was so tiny i was terrified it might be a bat (rabies, theyhave shots but I'd have to take them both in for a booster). ChatGPT said it was a shrew.

I was like ohh its just like a Father's Day Gift. Something you really don't want from someone you love so you have to pretend to be thrilled.

I guess I can put this in BFF today - yesterday was flea meds and he was not my friend for about 12hrs. He's down to fighting weight and is once again his athletic outdoorsey self. Of the four cats six creatures I care for... the only one that actively seeks out affection is this outdoor rascal.
