Wife and daughter brought both cats to the vet on NYE. They grabbed the older cat first and put her in a soft back pack style carrier then went to catch Merlin. I look and see the soft carrier rolling across the room like a gerbil ball while the cat inside is yowling and trying to get out. Merlin goes in his carrier with no drama and sits quiet. He is such a good natured cat.

I stuck a swivel through a cat toy and put it in a kids fishing rod. They go nuts. Tommy for all the crap we give him is actually really good at aerial targets. May is like the jedi master. She ignores all but the most certain, then effortless grabs the high percentage shots while looking bored.

Tommy is like playing catch with a lab though. You can run him to exhaustion before he gives up. After he was still panting minutes later we realized we were going to have to keep the sessions shortView attachment 21536
Charlie actually fishes, using the fishin pole. I know that ALL cats go bonkers for the fish on the end, but this crazy cat, holds the handle of the fishin pole with both front paws, and she actually "casts" it... then she drops it and chases the fish. It's crazy.

Tommy is the 5th indoor cat I've had... and they've torn up various things but generally furniture and carpet. Tommy is the first one to go after the house itself, he's absolutely shredding the door frames all over the house.

I've got some carpet on the walls at places he likes to scratch. The wife still comes by several times a week and she's the reason we don't have cat furniture/multiple scratching posts around. "He should learn not scrach" she says. (Yeah and you should learn not to bitch but its apparently innate behavior for both. )

But I have to keep him from destroying wood. I'm hoping I can spackle/putty this damage but he's gotten pretty deep in spots.

My cats have always liked clawing the molding... Spakle is no good for repairing wood, because of the shrink/ expansion rates, but wood putty and many other products do the job well.
