LOL....when I was a little kid we used to have rubber band gun wars. Neighbor screwed TWO clothespins to a stick and had TWO headless nails on the front for a double -shooter. I ran into the garage, stole one of dad's old oil paint palates (the tray with the thumb hole) and fastened TWELVE clothespins to it and filed notches in the leading edge to hold the rubber bands. Needless to say, I handily one the next battle and we moved onward from there. That 870 is a TRIP! I'll bet it would be faster if he kept the trigger pulled while he cycled it.
