Got my perfect buyer feedback trashed by a cocksucker seller in revenge for leaving honest feedback after he put the wrong address resulting in a pickup set sitting outside in the rain for 6 hours. Reverb CS won't remove it. I hate them and have made a wax doll of the customer service agent, just heating up some pins for the eyeballs and groin. Grrrr.

It’s been going downhill since the Etsy takeover, different kinds of sellers (and buyers) these days. I made them remove my preferred seller status :)
I think it's been well over 5 years since I've used Reverb as a marketplace for sales and before that I had over 50 sales there and Preferred Seller status. The end for me came once dealers began to take over with their $12.50 shipping charge vs anywhere from $60-$90 for a retail seller shipping a similar piece of gear. There was no way to compete with that. Ever since Etsy took over I don't even look there to buy any longer. They're dead to me now. They sold out.

I guess I've been lucky overall, 15 months ago I started on a huge downsize mission and 70+ sales later I've only had one problem buyer (who tried to pull the damaged in transit scam thinking I'd go along but backed down when I wouldn't). Shame really that it has to be a bad seller and bad CS that burns the relationship. I was down to the last few low value items anyway.

But I'm still not taking the pins out :devilish:

So when you've fallen out with eBay and Reverb, where do you sell stuff?
For me locally on CL and Facebook Marketplace. All I've sold so far since moving up here is smaller stuff but I was able to move two guitars for my asking price last spring before I moved from Denver. I admit that it may be a little tougher here due to this being a college town and also due to the 70 mile distance from Denver but then the one guitar I have listed isn't one that has a huge amount of popularity either. It's priced right so I can wait things out.
