Crowd strike? And it took down lots of people.

Someone wasn't paying attention in jr high. So it's not quite on the order of Michael Hunt, but it does bring back memories of the Chevy Nova's ill fated attempt at a Mexican launch or Sound City Amps. Trademarks should always be given a hostile field test.

I got tired of dragging my work laptop home (I'm still skating and might start jogging, and it's not one of those sleek high-end laptops, it's a brick). I'm a Mac user at home, and Citrix doesn't work super well on Mac, mostly because of keyboard incompatibility. I told my brother I was looking for a mini PC just to run Citrix and Zoom for work. He showed me this:

This thing is sweet. $120, less than 5" across, and only weighs a few ounces. I'm going to velcro it to the back of my monitor. And I can boot it up and login to Citrix faster than my work laptop boots up. Runs great, too.

I bought 70 of those (almost identical, anyway, except a few years older) to build mobile prototypes for biosensor data collection. They worked great!

I have any number of pis floating around, but i bought an n100 pc in small form factor for the laser (and a month later Lightburn dropped Linux). But for around $150 you can get way more power than a pi. Trying to talk the kid into that route instead of upgrading his pi4 to a 5 ( a marginal upgrade, while the amd64 processor opens up worlds more opportunities for software that just ain't been made available for arm.

Small is often loud though. Figured I'd mention that since this is a musician forum. (I spent my youth wanting to be a rock star only to find a career in a dungeon surrounded by thousands of screaming fans.)
