One of the only playalong players I actually can stomache at all. But I still prefer the live Donna Lee cut by a zillion fold, and not only because it's so much more interesting of a tune in and of itself IMNSFHO.

The U-Basses I've played have all been fretless, which does not compute for me at that scale length and string thickness. The solidbodies sound a little too synth-y for my taste, but the hollow ones can certainly sound great if one puts in the time.

I'm having a heck of a time learning to play Steal my Kisses. It's trickier than it sounded when I agreed to learn it. It's that lick at the end of the second line of the verse. Everything else is doable but that little lick is making me crazy.

I found a video of someone playing the bass part half speed. Still having a hard time getting that lick full speed. I'll sleep on it and practice tomorrow. That always helps.

I sing it and have worked on the beatbox part. Strangely, it never occured to me to learn the bass part
