Started at 5am. While the reverse flow stick burner gives better flavor, tge pellet grill is a close second if you use a couple smoke tubes. Added bonus is I got up, fired the smoker, seasoned the shoulder, put it on the grill, and went back to bed.

Just had a close call. I pulled the smoke tubes out of the grill because they were done smoking. One of them must have had one lit pellet left. Said lit pellet must have fallen out and went between my front deck boards. I went out to check the grill and it was very smoky and I heard crackling. Looked under the deck and some leaves underneath were on fire. My wife must have heard my “oh crap we have a fire”. I ran around the back of the house and dragged the hose around while she grabbed a fire extinguisher. She couldn’t see how to get to it with the extinguisher so we soaked it with the hose. Ended up pulling a couple deck boards so I could get everything fully wet. Score was no damage at all to the deck, just some burned leaves.

The older I get, the more "set it and forget it" appeals to me. :)
my problem is the forgetting it. if i get distracted. have you tried the butter on the pizza yet? remember,if its a meat
lover type just the edge of the crust. but if cheese you can do a quick spiral. real salted butter. i look forward
to your critique. be honest good or bad. careful and not too much. don't want greasy soggy pizza.

I'm not a fan of fish.
I taste no fish in Kewpie mayo.
Is it the legit stuff in that squeeze bottle with plastic bag around it?
yes,i found it in the section with other odd condiments. a mexican mayo. tacos and such. what i read it was the msg
that gave it the fish flavor. i thought that was odd. i plan to get some. i think a burger might benefit from it.
