I had one more fun experience yesterday. Not food related, but everything else is here, so I'll keep it going.

After the movie, I ran into a couple coworkers outside the gallery. (I'd actually never met them in person before, but am on the DEI committee with them. After catching up, I walked back to the office with one. Along the way, she pointed out a mystery landmark just off the road that she was curious about.

No sign or anything. Just a big granite table on an aluminum stand. It was pitch black, so we used our phone flashlights to investigate. It had names, dates, and factoids in concentric circles. It occurred to me it might be a dial, so I tried moving it. There was nowhere to actually grip it, though, so it took all my might with half fingertips in the gap on either side of the middle ring to crank it just a few degrees before it jammed up again. But yeah, it's some kind of trivia wheel.

It wasn't on Google Maps or any directory of Portland landmarks. But I eventually found a webpage for it and added it to Google Maps myself.
